Interested in the variations of mark making and inspired by our natural world, I consider all of my work to be
"earth" "marks." I'm working on my Earthmarks in a series of acrylic paintings on canvas or on both sides of Dura-lar (mylar).
Each painting illustrates the micro and macro layers of our lands, waters, and skies, layers we unveil
through experience and imagination. Further, the paintings express the ethereal beauty of this earth as well as serving to remind us of the damaging effects of changing climate.
The following are examples of my current Earthmarks.
